Welcome to Kitkoons, Alaskan Sea Adventures. We are located in Hydaburg on Prince of Wales Island, the third largest island in the United States and one of the thousands of islands that make up the Alexander Archipelago, southeast Alaska's famed "Inside Passage".
A land of rugged emerald green mountains, quiet bays and rivers that are teeming with trout and steelhead. The clear blue protected waters provide a bonanza of halibut, cod and red snapper all year round and some of the largest runs of salmon in Alaska during the season. |
| The halibut fishing around Prince of Whales Island are world famous and vary in size from 15 to over 350 pounds. While in season king salmon are plentiful and large weighing in from 10 to 60+ pounds.
This spectacularly beautiful part of Alaska is home to a wide variety of wildlife. A wide variety of waterfowl make their homes here as well as whales, seals, porpoises, bears, deer, wolves, minks and sea otters. You can view whales here on almost every tip out. |

| All fishing and sightseeing will be from the 26-foot Sea Raven. This is a fast and luxurious vessel that offers a comfortable heated cabin, complete with marine head and a fishing deck that offers ample room.
Kitkoons Sea Adventures takes pride in providing the personal service, the proper equipment and the expertise to make your Alaska fishing experience fantastic and unforgettable. |
| We take you where ever the fish are hitting. The south end of the island is always
preferred and there is a salmon derby in nearby Craig, Alaska. You will
fish in comfort aboard the fully equipped fishing vessel, the Sea Raven. A typical
day of fishing is six to eight hours or until you get your limit.
We're also proud to offer ecotours and a support system for kayaking at Kitkoon Sea Adventures. It's the perfect way to see Alaska's incredible beauty up close and personal. |
